7 days Gorilla safari -
Day 01 – Start your safari from Kampala at 0800 this morning, heading southwest, via the equator point. Today’s drive will last approximately 10hours including a lunch stop in Mbarara and other brief stops along the way as you wade through the beautiful highlands of Uganda. We arrive Bwindi at about 6pm this evening to check in, have dinner and rest.

Day 02 – Early breakfast - 6:45am breakfast, then head to the information center for a briefing before the days trek. Trekking for the gorillas may last only 3 hours or up to 8 hours or more of the day sometimes with rain overhead so be prepared with sturdy hiking boots, waterproof jacket. After a satisfactory trek, return to lodge for a well deserved hot shower and rest. This evening you could shop for souvenirs at the craft shops before dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03 - Depart Bwindi at 0900am and head for Queen Elizabeth National park. Arrive this afternoon to check in and take an evening game drive through the park. Wildlife here includes; elephant, cape buffalo, Uganda kob, warthog, hyena, hippo, waterbuck, lion, leopard and over 1,000 different bird species.

Day 04 - Early riser today, 0600am, head out to catch the lions having breakfast and the hyenas scavenging before they disappear into the thickets. Return to lodge for late breakfast and lunch. At 3pm, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, famous for its many bird species and high concentration of hippopotamus. Elephants tend to use this time to take a drink at the shores.

Day 05 – Depart the parks at 0930am and drive through the highlands making brief stops at the tea gardens to enjoy the scenery and take photos, make a lunch stop in Mbarara. Proceed to Lake Mburo National park to check in, and go out for a game drive. Wildlife in this park includes; zebra, warthog, topi, eland, impala, hippopotamus, leopard, hyena and several bird species.

Day 06 - Early morning game drive in the park to see more zebra and catch more memories of your African wildlife safari. A game drive offers the opportunity to see the elusive leopard, jackals, and hyenas among other animals in the park. Return for breakfast. After lunch, take a nature walk in the park, this gives you a closer experience of the wildlife and plant life in the park.

Day 07 - Depart the park at 0930am, head for the equator point, where you can shop for African souvenirs, take pictures and have lunch. Drive to Kampala arriving approximately 500pm. End of safari

Terms and Conditions
- Prices and price validity - Prices are quoted in US Dollars and are valid for the specified time but may change. Prices are marked on the current exchange rate at the time of publication and may be affected in case of major variation in exchange rates.
- Reservations - Upon reservation, a minimum deposit of 50% is required of the total cost of the safari. Gorilla permit fees are required at the time of booking the safari. This is a fee of $500 USD. The balance of the safari is to be cleared prior to departure.
- Cancellation - If cancelled within a month before commencement, all paid monies shall be refunded. A little operational cost charge of 10% shall be made.
- Accommodation - The standard pricing policy is for two people sharing a double/twin room. Single rooms are available at supplementary costs. Wherever possible we book rooms with private baths throughout the safari (except on budget/camping).
- Transportation - This depends on the itinerary and number of persons in safari group but is usually by 4WD safari minibus with pop-up roof, large windows and an English-speaking driver-guide. Each client is guaranteed a window seat allowing you a perfect photographic opportunity.
- Insurance - Border-Less Travel Ltd. takes the utmost precaution to limit accidents or losses. However, you cannot guarantee so you are advised to take out an insurance policy to cover personal valuables and medical expenses.
- Liability - Border-Less Travel ensures utmost safety for all of client’s property. However we do encourage our clients to make careful watch over their belongings as any losses incurred shall not be covered. We shall not be liable to injury, loss, damage, accident, delay to persons due to sickness, pilferage, government restrain or weather changes. We will also not be liable for loss of property due to any act of default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company, or agents rendering any of the services included in the itinerary.
- Note: If for any reason, stated services in our client’s itinerary are not fulfilled, a refund shall be made to compensate for the same.
