Murchison Falls National park

Itinerary: 3 days/2 nights - Safari code: BLT 002

Day 01 - Depart Kampala at 0800am driving north. The drive today takes you through Luwero, Masindi through tropical forest with common sights of baboons. The drive today including all stops will be approximately 8 hours.
Meal plan = B/L/D

african elephantsDay 02 - Early riser today, 0600am grab a coffee and out to catch the lions, hyenas before they disappear into the thickets. Other animals to see here include; cape buffalo, jackson's hartebeest, oribi, giraffe, Uganda kob, warthog ,elephant, leopard,waterbuck. At 200pm, take a cruise on the Nile river a haven for birds, hippo, crocodile, and a magnificent view of the Murchison falls - as the nile gushes through a narrow crevice.

Day 03 - Leave the lodge at 0800am, drive to the top of Murchison falls to get another and closer view of the nile steaming its way through a narrow crevice. Drive to Kampala arriving at approximately 600pm.

Day 01 - Depart Kampala at 0800am driving southwest. The drive today takes you across the equator, through amazing highlands with beautiful tea estates and awesome banana growth canopy. The drive today including all stops will be approximately 10 hours.
Meal plan = B/L/D

Day 02 - After 6:45am breakfast, head to the information center for a briefing before embarking on the long awaited trek. Gorilla tracking may last only 3 hours or up to 8 hours or more of the day sometimes with rain overhead so be prepared with sturdy hiking boots, waterproof jacket. After a satisfactory trek, return to lodge for a well deserved hot shower and rest. This evening you could shop for souvenirs at the craft shops before dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03 - After 800am breakfast, depart Buhoma for Kampala. Arrive at approximately 600pm.

Lake Mburo National park

Itinerary: 3 days/2 nights - Safari Code: BLT 004

Day 01 - Depart Kampala at 900am driving southwest. The drive takes you across the equator, where you can make a stop for pictures and souvenir shopping. Head to the park to check in, go for a late afternoon game drive. Wildlife here includes; zebra, waterbuck, impala, topi, warthog, eland, hippo, buffalo and many bird species.Todays drive including all stops will be approximately 4 hours.
Meal plan = B/L/D

Day 02 - Early morning game drive in the park to search for more wildlife, this gives you a better opportunity to see the elusive leopard, jackals, hyenas and more zebra. Return for breakfast. After lunch take a boat cruise on Lake Mburo this gives you an opportunity to see several bird species, hippo and buffalo on the waters edge.
Meal plan = B/L/D

Day 03 - Depart the park after breakfast, and transfer to Kampala, making a stop at the equator for more souvenir shopping and picture taking. Arrive Kampala at approximately 500pm.

Kibale Forest National park Itinerary - 3 days/ 2 nights

Day 01 - Depart Kampala and transfer to Kibale forest National park making a lunch stop in the colonial town of Fort Portal.
We head to the park at a casual pace. Arrive the park to check in relax and possibly watch the local traditionall dance show.

Day 02 - After breakfast, head into the forest for chimp tracking. This usually lasts 4 hours or over. Primates to see here are; chimpanzees, red-tailed monkey, colobus monkey, vervet monkey among others. This park is also home to several bird species. Return to lunch. After lunch, head out for the board walk in the Bigodi sanctuary popular for its birds including the great blue Turaco.

Day 03 - After breakfast, we transfer to Kampala. End of safari...Kwaheri..goodbye!
