What they said about us........

" I have personally traveled in Uganda alongside of Peter Wamono with Border-Less Travel, he is an excellent guide with great knowledge of Africa and the West due to extensive travel. He has excellent people skills. He is culturally sensitive and able to show you the very best in African warmth and hospitality. He has a great sense of humor and you cannot but help enjoy his company. I can only say that I am returning again to Africa to enjoy its beauty, its people and Peter's great company. Border-less travel with Peter as a guide would be the best there is on offer".

An in depth experience of African culture and living. A complete African village habitation Safari!!

Our community initiatives at the moment at directed primarily in the area of education. We help communities in rural Uganda establish brick-wall classrooms for their schools thus creating a quality environment which helps enhance better quality education provided to the students.

We believe education is very vital in the formation and foundation an any nation because it in some way helps provide a platform that shapes the future of any nation.

It is our motivation that if citizens of a nation are properly educated, and embrace with it virtues like honesty and integrity this facilitates change and in Africa at the moment this is more needed and necessary than in other destinations across the globe.

A team at work, setting up a double classroom block

The Uganda population is presently estimated at 31 million people. Of this over 60% are below the age of 18 and school going. Universal Primary Education(UPE) a government program that allows free education for all elementary school going children has seen immense response that has led to over crowding of schools and eminent shortage of infrastructure and scholastic materials, some children hold their classes under Mango trees- a good gesture but not very weather-friendly. Help provide contribute towards and participate in the construction of classroom blocks, bring scholarstic materials.

We also provide; school work books as well other scholastic materials for students as well as for teachers.
We like to provide opportunities for teachers from abroad interested in volunteering their time to engage in teaching the students and working alongside the local teachers for a limited period of time unless you are interested in being involved for a much longer duration.

Are you interested in bringing a mission team or being part of one or are you interested in volunteering your time as a teacher? Email us at: info@borderlesstravel.com

A volunteer Mission teacher at work

Other projects we are engeged in involve healthcare - the Uganda community at large is scarcely able to access medical attention, statistics here show that there's 1 doctor to 1000 patients, with average life expectancy at 48 years, most Ugandans practically never afford a doctor all their lives not to mention ever getting dental or eye treatment. Malaria a disease that is easily addressable is a huge problem especially in the rural areas and in the recent past has claimed more lives than AIDS. With a medical team (group) - nurses, doctors, medical practioners, you can visit local communities and help dispense medical supplies ie. medicines, mosquito nets etc. Through even the simplest means, you can help save the lives of many children and adults.

For more information about bringing a medical team or volunteering a nurse of doctor at a local dispensary, please email us at: info@borderlesstravel.com
